A PrayerThe Threshold of the New: A Prayer of Departure and Arrival
Father of Lights, I stand at the edge of the wood, acknowledging that the shifting shadows of 2025 were not a wandering, but a weaving. Thank You for the "Wood Between the Worlds"—that sacred, quiet interval where You stripped away the noise of the previous season to prepare my ear for the frequency of the next.
I confess that in the fluctuation of transition, I have often felt the frailty of my own thoughts. Yet, I stand now in the resolute confidence that You are the Master Architect. You do not merely discard my past; You integrate it. Thank You for the mystery of Romans 8:28—that divine understanding where You take the raw material of this transition and forge the gold of my future.
Lord, as the portal of 2026 opens before me:
I declare that the time of "becoming" is yielding to the time of "being." I step through the threshold, not with the exhaustion of the journey, but with the momentum of Your Spirit. I am no longer a person of the Wood; I am the pioneer of the New Dimension. In the Name of the One who makes all things new, Amen. The Insight
In 2025, many of my friends and I were in transition. It’s not only those in the US but also internationally. How about you? For some, it began in 2024, but the major thrust of the transition hit in 2025. Let me suggest that transition is not a long-term endeavor. We don’t stay in transition forever. Some may find longer periods of time than others, but it’s never the way of life. We step through the transition from one season to another. Have you found this as well? Transition for me is how C.S. Lewis describes the Wood Between the Worlds in The Magician’s Nephew. Transition is a portal from one aspect of our journey to another. It’s a time when wise people teach us not to make major decisions. Our thoughts fluctuate as we hit transition. There is hope in the fact that the Father is continually building on the previous season into the next. That’s a scriptural promise in Romans 8:28. All things work together for good. As we enter 2026, and we pass through the wood between the worlds and step into a new aspect of our journey, what can we expect? Is there a trend happening in the kingdom of God? Is there a trend happening in the world at large, both inside and outside the Church? I believe there is. As a leader, you may be coming through this season, or you may know those who have been transitioning in 2025. How can we be encouraged and confident that the season of transition has transpired and that we are now stepping into a new dimension of our journey? Three Questions
Daily DeclarationsDeclarations for the New Dimension
Day 1: Moving Beyond the Threshold "I declare that transition is a season, not a destination. I am not stuck in the Wood Between the Worlds; I am passing through it. Today, I lift my eyes from the path of change and set them on the horizon of my new assignment."
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” — Isaiah 43:18-19
Day 2: The Promise of Purpose "I declare that Romans 8:28 is active in my life. Every challenge of 2025 is being converted into a Kingdom movement for 2026. Nothing I have walked through is wasted; the Father is building my future on the foundation of His faithfulness."
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” — Romans 8:28
Day 3: Clarity Over Confusion "I have the mind of Christ. I am stepping out of the past season of transition and into clarity. I will recognize the new portals God is opening, and I will have the wisdom to know when to move."
“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace... We have the mind of Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33 & 2:16
Day 4: Leaving the Wood Behind "I release the rhythms of the old season and embrace the fresh pace of the Spirit. I am not defined by where I have been, but by where the Father is leading me now."
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens... He has made everything beautiful in its time.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1, 11
Day 5: Kingdom Trends and Divine Sight "I declare that my ears are tuned to the frequency of Heaven. I will see what is trending in His Kingdom and apply that to my life. I am one who moves by revelation, not by reaction."
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” — Jeremiah 33:3
Day 6: Strength for the New Dimension "I am stepping into a new dimension of my journey. I exchange any weariness for His supernatural strength. I am equipped, called, and empowered for the specific purposes He is opening in 2026."
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” — Isaiah 40:31
Day 7: Confidence in the Architect "I declare that the Architect of Time is leading my way. I rest in the confidence that He who began a good work in me will bring it to completion. 2026 is a year of standing on solid ground and moving further into His Kingdom purposes."
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6 |
