Over the past several weeks, I have written about my frustration with drawing closer to the Lord and how imagination has played a part in making my ceiling my floor in going deeper with Jesus.
When these moments happen, we step into a new revelation of who he is, and we often aspire to go even further into this new relationship. As I close this portion of the series, I want to suggest that the Father is the one pouring out new insights and experiences with our imagination.
Imagination has always been a part of our being, yet there are times when the Lord sees fit to pour out an abundance of fresh insight about his kingdom. I believe we are in that moment with divine imagination.
Imagination has the ability to be soulish and divine. Isn't that true of most things in life? Even the Bible has been used to promote soulish desires over its divine purposes.
I believe the Father is pouring out a fresh understanding of imagination so that we may connect with him. To see a new facet of who he is, thereby entering into a deeper love for him.
If imagination can do this, then all the more to my imagination meeting Jesus in all areas of my life.
To clarify my point and provide insight that brings balance to this outpouring from heaven, I have asked several friends to join me here as guest writers on the topic.
These guest writers will bring scriptural revelation to understand why and what this outpouring of imagination is about. They will also offer activations to help you step into the practice of imagination as a balanced, helpful, and divine pursuit.
OCTOBER GATHERING: We're looking forward to presenting our Fall event, which will be online and in person with special guests. Be looking for information in the coming months. You can join us here in Vacaville in person or online for a heartfelt life-giving time together.
