DO YOU SEE THE CHANGE?
WHAT IS THE NEW ERA?
Decades have come and gone and we have searched for the advent of a new season, a coming revival spoken about for over 100 years. Through the years men and women have spoken of a coming day that would see 1 billion people meet, encounter and respond to Jesus. A turning of society to the heart of God affecting lives and nations.
I believe we have entered into this time. It is far more than a season - it is the advent of a New Era. In the making for over 580 years with one gate closing and a new gate opening. We have entered an unprecedented time in our history.
My Toes Were Across the Line
I had a dream of a huge valley with millions upon millions of people wanting something. To hear and to know. Around the outer edge of the valley was a chalk line. The body of Christ was standing on the chalk line ready to cross over into the middle. I asked in the dream, "When do we get to go in and connect with these millions who are ready to hear?" I heard a voice say, "Look down!"
As I looked I realized my toes, and only my toes were across the line and into the middle. In that moment in the dream I knew that we had crossed into a new era. Even if it is only the beginning. We have entered this moment in history that has been cried out for decades. Over a century of prayers.
I believe this moment will look very little like former revivals. I hesitate to even use the word revival. For it's much greater. Revivals historically have been very short. A few years. To see 1 billion people meet, encounter and respond to Jesus is far more than a short revival.
We must, ourselves, be revived. To find our daily focus on Jesus. Simply Jesus.
