Farm Project

For twenty years, a farm training program has been developed to help farm families in Latin America share their burden of working out of poverty.
Now we are expanding!

In 2001, Byron had an idea in the mountain town of Boaco, Nicaragua, to bring people out of poverty through small farms. Working with the ministry of Pontis Nicaragua, a farm training program has been developed, helping hundreds of impoverished families, widows, and single parents become self-sustaining and move out of poverty. The program continues to expand throughout Nicaragua.

We believe God uses small things, like farm families on 3-5 acre farms, to make significant transformations, such as virtually eliminating poverty.

BHH and Pontis's goal is to work together to release the training program to other nations. We are on the front edge of this new work by having the Spanish version translated into English. Then, a decisive strategy is formulated to release into nonprofits and NGOs. Through our extensive travels into many nations and meeting numerous leaders of these organizations, we can begin releasing the training program. Further ideas on how to help this project become self-sustaining are being discussed.

NOTE: 1.46 billion people speak English around the world. Incredibly, this amounts to 18.07% of the global population. More people speak English than any other language. But we don't want to stop there.
